Five or six nights each, taken alone or in order
Thirteen pieces, and you can reserve a single trip segment in Washington DC
Every segment in the catalogue, grouped under the line it belongs to. Each is five or six nights, each has its own figure, and each can be bought on its own. The mark beside a name says how long the move into it takes.
Reserve this with the officeNothing is charged here. The form stays open at any hour and a person writes back inside one working day.

Taking one piece and leaving the rest
Nothing in this catalogue is sold only as a set. If one segment of a line is the part you actually want, that is what the office will arrange, and the figure for it is the figure printed against it. There is no penalty in the price for taking one instead of three, because the figures are built from what the operating companies charge for each piece and this office adds the same nothing either way.
What the mark beside each name means
A square inside a fixed field, drawn back from the edges by an amount that grows with the length of the move into that segment. Flush with the edges means under two hours. Fully drawn back means a night spent travelling. The scale exists because the journey between two places is the part people plan worst, and because a segment that is easy to reach and one that costs you a whole day are different purchases even at the same figure.
